I have never been one of those girls who have flawless skin no matter what – I am the exact opposite. I suffer from eczema, which sometimes gets really serious and unfortunately it always appears on my face, which makes it even harder for me. But since I’m using natural face products on a daily basis I noticed a huge improvement in the condition of my skin. I have always been looking for gentle and eczema friendly products in the pharmacy but they were far from perfect – the majority of them was causing skin irritation, had an intense scent or some chemicals which were making my condition even worse.
And then Ewelina came to the rescue, introducing me to natural beauty products and this is something I will be forever grateful for. Probably my bank account is not as happy because these cosmetics are more expensive than the drugstore ones but I believe they are worth every penny. Speaking of which, I prepared a wish list of clean beauty products, as there is still a lot to go for me to transform my bathroom shelf into a natural and skin-beneficial one.
So here we go!
1. Bee Yummy Skin Food // £34 – 60ml
Wildflower honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and more, all in a little pot. I’ve heard so much about it and I’m looking forward to checking if it really is a miracle product, because the reviews are mind blowing. It’s a bit pricey in the UK, but if you’re from USA you can get it for cheaper from their official website (warning: you might get a headache, what’s wrong with the colours there, haha?)
2. Antipodes Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream // £29.46 – 60ml
I am so happy with my Antipodes Immortal SPF15, that I’m really eager to try a night cream from this brand. Ewelina wrote a good review about some of their products as well, so I’m pretty sure it will do its job well. Plus, I love everything with avocado.
3. Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil // £22 – 30ml
Another miracle skin care product. We haven’t yet tried anything from Pai brand, but it gathers a lot of good reviews – the only downside is probably the price of their products. I would like to try the Rosehip oil with Vitamin E – this particular serum costs £22, so not as much comparing to other products from this brand.
4. Gaia Creams Calendula & Chamomile Raw Moisturiser // £16.50 – 30ml
Gaia and their handmade, raw and 100% organic products are so tempting – you already know from Ewelina’s post that we are fans of the brand and its ecological principles. This cream seems to be perfect for my eczema prone skin with the calming and healing properties of chamomile and calendula. What is more, Gaia Creams offered us and our readers a 15% discount, so use PATTERNOFTASTE code at the checkout whenever you shop there ♥
5. Borlind Natural Liquid Concealer // £13.50 – 1.5ml
I am so happy I found this product on Naturisimo – although it’s probably too early to say so 😉 I am not using any foundation at the moment, covering my imperfections only with a concealer – the famous Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent. I am aware that this cosmetic is not green and I want to replace it with a natural one, considering I’m applying it on the sensitive under eye area. And Annemarie Borlind concealer looks almost exactly like Touche Eclat, which makes it so attractive in my eyes (I am a packaging freak). Plus, its price is not too bad, so I might as well order it now and review it soon on our blog or channel!
6. Kjaer Weis Mascara //£32 – 5.4g
Kjaer Weis cosmetics are so gorgeously designed! As I mentioned above, I am crazy for beautifully branded products. I heard a lot of good things about this organic mascara. I am aware that its price is high, but you pay £32.00 only the first time you buy it, because later you can simply purchase a refill for £19, so it’s not so bad after all.
That would be it for today! Unfortunately my wish list is much longer and it only grows – I guess I’m not the only one though! 😉
Let me know in the comments if you tried any of these products, and if not – what’s on your clean beauty wish list?
